Giving Back to Our Community: Supporting the Karen Cooper Foundation
At Certified Automotive Specialists, we believe great service goes beyond the vehicles we repair. It extends into the community we’re proud to be part of. One of the ways we give back is through our support of the Karen Cooper Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing joy to shelter dogs during the holiday season.
The foundation was created to honor Karen Cooper’s legacy by providing Christmas gifts to dogs in shelters—dogs who might otherwise spend the day like any other. What started as a simple, heartfelt gesture has grown into a meaningful mission that now reaches thousands of dogs each year.
A Mission That Makes a Difference
The Karen Cooper Foundation focuses on three core goals:
- Bringing Christmas to as many sheltered dogs as possible
- Raising awareness for pet adoption
- Honoring the legacy of Karen Cooper
Each year, the impact continues to grow. From supporting over 1,000 dogs across multiple shelters in its early efforts to reaching thousands more in recent years, the foundation is expanding its reach and making a lasting difference.
Our 2025 Contribution
During the 2025 holiday season, Certified Automotive Specialists and our incredible customers came together to support this meaningful cause. Through generous donations and participation, we were able to provide treats and presents for 130 shelter dogs.
This effort represents more than just gifts. It’s about bringing comfort, excitement, and a sense of care to animals who are waiting for a second chance at a loving home.
